After the rest, the PCs continue their exploration. They meet with the leader of the orc marauders, and ogre called Great Ulfe, and with his dire wolves pets. Having defeated these monsters, they find a wooden cage where two human farmers where kept prisoner. They release the two, and give them weapons to defend themselves.
Together with the two farmers, the party proceeds to the next rooms, finding more and more of the supplies the orcs had stolen from the surrounding farmland.
Eventually the PCs arrive at a large cavern with a grand set of stairs leading down. Before they have the time to investigate the room, a flock of blood-sucking stirges comes up from the stairs.
But that's not all. At the same time, a door to the south opens up, and an orc shaman together with a few orc acolytes, come charging at the PCs.
The party fights both threats and emerges victorious once again. Having obliterated the orc presence on this level of the dwarven compound, the PCs decide to rest for the night.
