Session 63

PCs (lvl 18): Alexander, Tarlyn, Yincan, Zadas

The party continues in their exploration of Kronos' innards. A difficult battle against creatures of pure hunger awaits them, but they manage to come out victorious.

The next encounter is a battle of wits, as they meet Rex the androsphinx. They solve the noble creature's riddles, and they earn several boons.

These boons are much needed, as in the next chamber Acererak the lich awaits them. The PCs charge the undead creature and his minions without hesitation, and they succeed in destroying the archmage's eldritch machine, and force him to a hasty escape.

With Acererak's plans foiled, a portal opens up to deliver them once again to Mount Olympus. Zeus rewards their efforts with the magical hammer Whelm, and a grand feast.

The day after, the gods of Olympus guide them to a portal that will bring them back to Sigil.

Session 62

PCs (lvl 18): Alexander, Tarlyn, Yincan, Zadas

The PCs make their way inside the maw, and they find themselves inside the mouth of a dead god! As they arrive, they're confronted with a summoned balor, which they destroy promptly. They make their way to the throat, but are stoppend by venomous tentacles. When they manage to overcome this challenge, they find a passage to reach the brain of the corpse.

There they speak with whatever is left of Kronos' mind. The dead god gives them his blessing to proceed through his entrails and find and stop Acererak, the lich that is trying to bring him back to life.

And so the party makes its way to the intestines, where they battle a worm-like protusion, and several armored flesh golems. But not everything is trying to kill them inside the corpse f Kronos. When they reach the pancreas, they find several pools of healing water. They rest for awhile there, getting ready to continue in their quest.

Session 61

PCs (lvl 18): Alexander, Tarlyn, Yincan, Zadas

The party is once again in Olympus. Upon their arrival, they find Zadas fighting a mighty leviathan, a monstrosity of air and lightning. The PCs defeat the titan, and bring the barbarian up to speed regarding the recent events.

Soon enough, Hermes, messenger of the gods, makes his appearance, to escort the PCs to Zeus himself. The Father of the Gods seems upset about the arrival of the PCs, but he recognizes the importance of their quest to face Shadowthrone. He decides to put them to the test, to earn the privilege of using his hammer, Whelm.

He sends them to the Astral Plane, to defeat an undead creature that is planning to resurrect Kronos, Zeus' father. The PCs get acquainted with the rules of the Astral Plane, and eventually they reach an abandoned githyanki fortress. There they find a portal to Hell, leading to an adamantine tower. Feeling this is not the place they need to be, they go back through the portal.

When they return to the astral, they find the wounded body of a githyanki woman. They heal the woman, and she point to them the strange to which the fortress is chained. Looking at the maw-like opening on the side of the asteroid, the party understands that is their destination. They begin to climb the chians to reach the maw.

Session 56

Cerberus
PCs (lvl 16): Alexander, Tarlyn, Yincan, Zadas

The party gets ready to face Cerberus, but Destiny comes calling, when Eilistraee opens a gate for Levarion to step through. Arvandor is not safe, and the goddess needs his Champion. Levarion bids the others farewell, and leaves.

The PCs discuss how to best the fearsome hound of Hell, and most important how to avoid his breath of molten lava. After much deliberation, the issue is resolved by a carefully placed reverse gravity spell, which allows enough time for everyone to avoid the three-headed mastiff, and proceed to Hades' realm.

Beyond the doors they find themselves questioned by the Furies. Satisfied by the party's answers, they accompany the PCs to the presence of the three kings of Hell. There they're judged one at the time, and eventually deemed worthy to proceed in their quest.

The PCs begin to wander around Hades' palace, meeting with their old friend Broch, apparently stuck in his Fire Giant's form, and the spirits of several dead titans.

Session 48

Poseidon Fights the Kraken
PCs (lvl 13): Alexander, Tarlyn, Yincan, Zadas

The party fight against the dryad and her gygan bodyguard, slaughtering them both. They retrieve the Horn of Balmytria, and free all the remaining prisoners.

They return to the Seventh Shark, and drink from the magical Horn. They receive a vision of a huge crystal, the Eye of the Kraken, hidden deep in the sea, guarded by a colossal megalodon, the Cetus.

With the knowledge obtained from the Horn, they continue their journey at sea. During their travels they encounter a pirate ship, which they bravely sink.

Arrived at their destination, they dive into the sea, where they fight the Cetus and his shark companions. From the carcass of the Cetus they retrieve his fangs: these will protect them when they go deep into the sea, where the Eye of the Kraken is kept.

They swim to a dark whirpool, reaching impossible depths. Down there they see the crystal bound by enchanted chains. While they break the chains to free the crystal, two young krakens attack. The party defeat them, and recover the Eye.

The whirpool captures them again, catapulting them to the surface, where Poseidon himself awaits, ready to face the emerging Kraken! His powers bolstered by the Eye, the sea god subdues the ancient sea titan without too much trouble.

To reward the PCs for a task well done, Poseidon makes them a gift, his mighty trident Wave. When Zadas holds the legendary weapon in his hands, magic surrounds the Seventh Shark. The vessel is whisked away, a portal opening all around it.

When the ship and its crew, including the party, appear once again, they find themselves "grounded" in the middle of Zadara's throne room, back in Sigil.

Session 47

PCs (lvl 13): Alexander, Levarion, Tarlyn, Yincan, Zadas

The oozes are particularly resistant to the party's blades, but a careful use of magic is what is needed to defeat them. The PCs access the lower levels of the temple, arriving at an undergound cave occupied by magic mushrooms and a few goatlings.

Further exploration reveals the presence of several young men and women, kept in a state of confusion by the enchanting power of the mushrooms. The PCs meet more goatlings, and their maenad allies, creature of pure emotions capable of affecting the PCs' primal instincts.

The leader of these creatures is Demetria the Dryad. The party encounter her in her dining room, while she feasts with several companions. Guarding her is a 6-armed cyclops. Most importantly, the Horn of Balmytria is lying on the table. With their prize within reach, the PCs make a move to seize the horn.

Atlantis
PCs (lvl 13): Alexander, Levarion, Tarlyn, Yincan, Zadas

The PCs dive into the portal, and find themselves swimming in a vast ocean. They soon encounter the trireme Seventh Shark, captained by the triton Zadas, zealot of Poseidon. Zadas is on his way to Atlantis to visit his god. Realizing they have similar goals, the two parties join forces.

The Seventh Shark arrives in Atlantis, and the party visits Poseidon's palace. There they petition the god to lend them the mighty weapon Wave. Poseidon seems inclined to help them, but only after they'll have proved themselves worthy. Thus he assigns them a legendary quest, proclaming that his own champion Zadas shall accompany them.

In the first part of their quest, they must seek the Lost Isle to retrieve the Horn of Balmytria. They set sail on the Seventh Shark, eventually reaching the island. They explore the dark forest dominating the inland, eventually reaching the ruins of a temple dedicated to Poseidon.

Outside of the temple they save a young girl from savage goatmen. When they enter the ruins, they soon found a room occupied by a pool of dark water. Hiding in the pool, four black puddings ambush the party.
