PCs (lvl 6): Nuada, Olbis, Skrolk, Sshisah, Tarlyn
The party explores a vast chamber containing a model of a city, a throne, and a sarcophagus of sorts, floating in a river of molten metal. While they have a look around, they're attacked by a doppelganger.
Further ahead, they chance upon the living quarters of a powerful Oni named Xipe, who tests their mettle with dangerous results.
Having defeated Xipe, their search for Shadowthrone's coin brings them to a room dominated by a leafless willow, in fact a semisentient polyp that tries to kill them.
