PCs (lvl 2): Ella, Endrill, Skrolk, Sshisah, Tarlyn
The PCs descend down the shaft, finding themselves inside a vast room filled with a mushroom garden. Working with shovels and picks are several animated skeletons. The PCs destroy the undead and leave the room.
Exploring the underground complex, the PCs notice that mushrooms, lichens, and fungi are ever-present, together with the servants of the evil druid Belak: goblins, bugbears, undead creatures, and even an elemental snake made of solid fire roam the ancient halls, harrassing the PCs at every turn.
The PCs discover a horrific laboratory where beasts are infected with a magical disease that turns them into plant creatures. More mushrooms gardens fill the chambers once devoted to the dragon gods, covering the statues and the altars once tended by the faithful.
