Syranna

PCs (lvl 9): Aleksander, Broch, Nuada, Tarlyn

Adventure calls once again, when the party leaves the Yawning Portal, and found themselves in Thay, a land in Faerun ruled with an iron fist by the lich Szass Tam.

The PCs are in the Gatehouse, a sort of teleportation hub from which the gatekeeper Syranna can send them to the Doomvault. 

The Doomvault is a secret laboratory and containment structure, beneath which lies a hidden storehouse where the phylacteries of Szass Tam's elite liches are held. Syranna wants the PCs to travel to the Doomvault to disrupt Szass Tam plans of becoming a god.

In order to do so, they will have to activate several magical "black gates", eventually gaining access to the Philactery Vault. Believing they will be able to find on of Shadowthrone's coin in the Vault, the party accepts to assist Syranna.

They are transported to the Abyssal Prisons, where they face several undead and a vrock demon. But not everyone they meet is an enemy, and the PCs manage to strike a bargain of sorts with both a vampire and a succubus.
