PCs (lvl 9): Aleksander, Broch, Levarion, Nuada, Tarlyn
Continuing in their exploration, the PCs discover a room with a fire elemental bound to arcane sigils. The party frees the elemental, and the creature decides to follow them until he can find a back to the Elemental Plane of Fire.
Next the PCs arrive at a summoning chamber guarded by several undead. After destroying the undead, the party tries to strike a bargain with some of the fiends bound inside the protective circles, but things go south and all the fiends are released. The PCs fight them and destroy them.
They leave the chamber, and arrive in the private quarters of Tarul Var, the lich in charge of this zone of the Doomvault. The arcanist is protected by several undead. After a difficult fight the PCs are getting the upper hand, when Tarul Var calls for a chance to parley. The party agrees.
