PCs (lvl 9): Broch, Levarion, Nuada, Tarlyn
Tarul grants the PCs a few pieces of information, and shares the attunement of his own glyph key with theirs. Then he leaves the them, and departs from the Doomvault. The PCs take a rest, and then continue in their exploration.
They face several undead guarding a bound glabrezu. Levarion once again tries to strike a bargain with the demon, only to be betrayed by the fiend.
In the chamber of the Chaos Rift, their elemental companion finally finds a way to return home. After suffering from the elemental energies of the room, the PCs attune to one more Black Gate.
More magical traps await the party in the hall leading them to the ghost Sorlan, a former adventurer who lost his life in dungeon. Following the ghost's advice, the PCs avoid the Maze of Undoing, and fight a few Thayan wizards their bodyguard in the Demon Cells.
Having seen enough of the Abyssal Gates, the PCs proceed to the Predator Pools zone, where they fight and defeat a malformed kraken.
