Session 43

The Keeper

PCs (lvl 12): Alexander, Broch, Levarion, Tarlyn, Yincan

While exploring the steading the PCs meet the druid Yincan; the elf is a local hero investigating the attacks of the Hill Giants. Realizing they have a similar purpose, the party strikes an alliance with Yincan.

The PCs reach the kitchens, and using magic to turn invisible they poison several barrels of drinks. The poison they use is a magical concoction Tarlyn retrieved in the ruins of Tamoachan, and its potency puts several giants to sleep. A sleep that will last 5,000 years!

The party leaves the main floor, and descends into the dungeons. There they face a few manticores guarding what in the end reveals itself to be a fake treasuries, filled only with worthless gems.

Further ahead the party reaches a cavern inhabited by carrion crawlers and lizardfolk. They eventually retrace their steps, and meet the Keeper of the dungeons, a deformed Hill Giant. They kill the Keeper, and befriend one of his ape pets.
